I would recommend this machine if price is a big consideration for you. If it was optional I would have waited and enjoyed this new sale price from the Egg. Only regret is that I needed a printer right away. Just stick your blank in and the machine detects it and automatically takes the feed from the alternate tray. It has an alternate, single-sheet feeder for envelopes, laser checks, etc. Coming from my old MP500 inkjet that qualifies as light speed. When I hit the "Print" button I am looking at the finished copy in 10 seconds. Install was easy, then I had to designate it as my default printer before it would get orders to print. At the time it was the cheapest price anywhere ($100). Overall Review: I bought my D420 on sale from another retailer last January.
